Re: A WFH dad's polyphasic work, dayshift experiment (Day 1)
Day 1 of the Dayshift experiment: success. ✅
I'm finally done with my workload and just jotting this and some notes down to end the evening with a chill and free headspace.
I did need some help from a good cup of instant freeze-dried coffee (Moccona Hazelnut — less yucky acidic vs my old Nescafe stash), but other than that, everything went as I imagined. ☕

- cool looking glass container too
There were some minor variations to the timing, but I think that'll fluctuate depending on seasons, weather, and other family activities.
I'm also more focused and aware, but maybe that's just because the whole routine is novel to my brain and body. 🧠
Looking at potential hurdles: since I'll be working in the daytime, I'll most likely encounter days where I have to shift some hours to the next day.
I want to keep a no-screen rule after 1 am. I know that sounds quite lax, but that's just my scenario at the moment.
I hope that improves moving forward. 🌙
