Maybe it's just a weekend. Transitions. (It's a work-life balance thing)
The weekend was kinda nice.
We spent some time with family and shared the universal woes of AI taking our jobs. (Except for that one cousin who works in hardware and makes literal AI chips.)
We had some food. We talked. We spent some time working out at my cousin's gym while Kai played and entertained the "grown-ups."
Honestly, the gym part was a nice little breath of fresh air, since we've always been that eat-a-lot type of family.
Then we went home and did some art. I made iced tea, we grabbed some chips, and we painted.
I've sent so many applications that I've officially lost track of what I've applied for.
I do have a record somewhere; it's just difficult to keep track off the top of my head.
It's officially my first week off the job.
I'm working extra diligently, tho, getting up quite early to send in applications and update some stuff.
But to be honest, my boss's testimonial will probably do most of the work here.
I'm happy that even during this transition, I feel as grateful as ever to, and for, everyone I've worked with.
