Job descriptions are getting too dystopian

It's an identity I'm trying on right now, without dwelling on it too much.

Unemployment.

I mean, I've been here before. 2020. COVID.

I do believe I can land a new job in a jiffy tho. The real question is what it's going to be about.

Growing up, I was always into the occult: synchronicities, geomancy, and even a bit of ESP, which was my thesis topic back in high school. So I've been checking these niche corners for job openings.

I'm not picky about skills, since I'm a fast learner. For me it's always been about the community, the work environment, the team.

To be honest though, going back into the job market after six years is quite unnerving.

It's as if all the listings are there to make you feel both inadequate and burnt out, even before you've applied.

Meanwhile, a thought in the back of my head says that if these slave-driving companies really are what their job posts make them look like, I might not shine there when it comes to offering true value.

I mean, no one who's overworked has any good ideas to share, right?

So where do you find one of those jobs where you actually look forward to Monday?

But yes,

Job descriptions are getting too dystopian.
