I need your help. Yes, yours.
Working from home let me be there for my wife and son every day. I'm not ready to give that up.
That's been my life for the last six years. The job title matters less to me than keeping it, and I'm happy to take on new kinds of work to protect it.
Work-life balance is a bit of an acrobatic act, and it gets riskier as a contract nears its end. Mine ends in November.
My priority is for my family to feel full and abundant, even in this chapter of our life.
So I'm stretching out as far as I can: collaborations, warm outreach, web design and odd jobs. It's also been a while since I last looked for a job, and hiring has changed a lot since then.
So here's my ask. I'd love your ideas. A job opening, a gig, a tip or a person I should talk to. Anything helps.
I'm not too proud to ask, and one good idea could be what gets me back to the work and the life I want.
What I do
- Outreach: six years of finding the right people, writing the emails, following up and reporting to clients
- Copyediting and proofreading: four years before that
- Simple web pages, made with AI tools
What I'm looking for
- Remote work, part-time or full-time
- Flexible hours from the Philippines (UTC+8), including Australia and New Zealand business days
How to reach me
- Email: winwithsammy@gmail.com
