Mid-July 2025 brought in a small win:
I got my hands on an EcoFlow River 2 for ₱9,000—a solid discount that made the purchase feel just right. It’s been sitting on my desk like a quiet promise, soon to be paired with a 150-watt solar panel (still on my to-buy list) so we can start charging our devices and running the electric fan during those warm Cebu afternoons.
⚡ The setup? Not too complicated.
Just a daily driver for our little gadgets. But with scheduled power outages this weekend, it’s about to get its first real test. The panel’s still missing (yep, still hunting for the right one, lol), but everything else is pretty much good to go.
💸 Panels are pricey from the places I’ve checked, so I’ll be canvassing again soon while running city errands. According to Gemini, this setup is coolio and should run smoothly—but I’m super curious about what you guys think.
